Starting a new chapter in a book can bring major plot changes, and new, interesting twists and turns for our favorite characters. Have you thought about how this can happen in real life, with real people?

Those changes can be major, such as leaving a toxic relationship, moving across the country, tackling an addiction, or maybe changing careers. Or they can be subtle, such as a shift in our priorities, a new truthfulness in how we go about our day, or maybe exploring a different facet of ourselves.

New chapters can be a bit unsettling, because we’re moving into the unknown. Sometimes that’s done with lots of bells and whistles. Sometimes it’s done very quietly. However it’s done, change always brings a certain amount of risk, but it also can bring tremendous rewards. There can be an increased excitement and interest, a deeper sense of authenticity, and a profound feeling of satisfaction and peace, among other things.

If you’re ready for a new chapter in your life, get some support and guidance. You deserve to have some help making this change. That help can be friends and family, professional coaches and therapists, books and articles, support groups, and mentoring. There can be so many different ways to reach out for ideas and inspiration.

You deserve to have a life that is happy, peaceful, and deeply satisfying. Turn that page, start that new chapter, and watch your comfort zone get bigger, and your confidence grow stronger, as you try new things. Watch yourself blossom! If you’re willing to share your thoughts, I would love to hear them.

Until next time,

Linda

    • Thank you, Susan. I appreciate your kind words. I think we all have times when we’re ready for change, and it can be a wonderful time of growth as we move through it. Remember to connect to your support system, though, so you don’t have to do it alone!
