I’ve had a long absence from my blog, and haven’t written any new posts for quite awhile! I want to apologize to those who have been wondering where I went. Like so many others, I have found that I occasionally need a break from online activities. I wish I could promise that it will never happen again, but I’m not sure that’s a promise I could keep. I will promise to try and do better.
I’m always encouraging my clients to be patient, gentle, and understanding with themselves. I don’t think I would be setting a very good example if I got down on myself for taking a break. So, I’m back! I hope that you find my posts to be helpful or encouraging in some way, and I will endeavor to be more consistent with posting.
Is there anything you need to forgive yourself for doing, or for not doing? Would you be more understanding if it was a loved one who had done something he or she didn’t feel good about? Life is short, and most of us are doing the best we can each day. If there’s something you feel sorry about, try to make any amends that might be needed. Do your best to change the behaviors that aren’t in line with your value system. And then make an effort to let go of the negative judgements you have of yourself.
Until next time,

Yay! I’m glad you are back. And double Yay! for taking a break. I love your posts and always find them encouraging and helpful. Love the brilliantly colored plant in the photo, too.
Thank you, Amy! What a kind and supportive comment! I’m glad that you enjoy my posts, and didn’t mind my decision to take a break. As for the photo, it was taken by my niece, who is an excellent photographer!
Take good care,
Linda
