“Everything that slows us down and forces patience, everything that sets us back into the slow circles of nature, is a help.  Gardening is an instrument of grace.”  May Sarton

These roses were photographed with the morning dew still on them.  Think about getting up early some morning, putting on your snug, warm clothes, and setting off for a walk through a beautiful garden yourself.

Join me in a little imaginary journey right now.  You and I are going to leave our busy, daily routines behind, and take a walk together.  Are you ready?  Let’s go!

As we stroll along through nature’s majesty, we enter a sanctuary of calmness in our hearts.  No matter what is going on in our lives, even when we feel fear or sorrow, there’s something so life-affirming and comforting about connecting with the natural world around us, in all of its cycles.

We slow our footsteps and stand listening to the stillness.  There is a grace and beauty here.  We take time to breathe it in.  We look at the beauty contained in a single dew drop!  We’re at peace with our world.  We don’t need to go any further.  Nature has worked its magic!

Thank you for joining me on this early morning walk.  Remember it the next time you need to connect to a steady center.  Remember that dew drop!  Life is beautiful!

We don’t need to have all the answers to life’s questions.  We just need to gently cradle a trust in the rightness of this moment!

Until next time,

Linda
